Storekeeper IV - Weston Warehouse 260002MW Description Position Summary: Incumbents of positions in this series unpack and examine incoming goods; purchase supplies and equipment; store goods, supplies, and equipment; mark identifying codes, etc. on articles; issue supplies, materials, and equipment; maintain records; take inventories; and perform related work as required. The basic purpose of this work is to receive, store, issue, ship aid purchase supplies, materials, and equipment for agency use. Duties and Responsibilities: Manages inventory, ensures smooth logistics and maintains proper records to supports the daily operation(s) of Highway Division’s Central Warehouse in Weston. Receives and examines incoming goods to verify accuracy of quantity, quality, condition of goods and conformance to specifications. Organizes the arrangement of goods, supplies and equipment within the warehouse to provide protection of items and effective utilization of space. Stores inventory items in safe, appropriate, and accurate stockroom location and relocates goods and materials to other locations as needed.
