Job description

This role will be responsible for a wide variety of operational tasks involving the production and supply of spectacle lenses, and will include computer-based tasks, as well as practical, hands-on tasks using our machinery and checking and packaging our products. This role requires an extremely proactive, positive and flexible approach to work. #LI-OC1 Primary Functions: - Conduct stock counts, and report discrepancies. - Carry out lens re-sleeving activity for orders within UK market - Logistics activity such as packing and shipment of goods - Facilitate and process frames and lenses for demo products - Perform routine equipment cleaning and calibration checks and assist in preventive maintenance scheduling - Support lens manufacturing processes, including handling, inspection, labelling, and packaging. - Conduct periodic maintenance activities on laser systems following work instructions, logging results on asset control software - Organize and sort R&D lens sample collection - Conduct trials on laser systems following protocols/guidance - Conduct measurements of lens features on microscopes - Grasp measurement concepts and understand importance of quality measurements - Perform...
