Title: RN Charge Nurse State Role Title: RN II/Nurse Prct I/Phy Asst Hiring Range: $45.00 - $48.00 / Hour ***Start date to be determined upon acceptance of first residents*** **Probationary period will start over effective hire date for all state employees** Pay Band: 5: Agency: Dept of Veterans Services: Location: Puller Veterans Center: Agency Website: www.dvs.virginia.gov: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties: Plan, direct, control supervise and coordinate all Nursing Service activities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs. Assign nursing tasks and ensure proper staffing levels. Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to nursing staff. Conduct performance evaluations and assist with disciplinary actions if necessary. Ensure staff compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Oversee the delivery of nursing care to residents/patients, ensuring it meets professional standards. Review patient care plans, assessments, and clinical documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, social workers) to coordinate care.
