Title: Clinical Laboratory Assistant [RP-N] Job Type: Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Central Laboratory Services Time Type: Part time Weekly Hours: 24 FTE: 0.6 Shift: Second Shift (United States of America) Summary: Processes requests and receives clinical laboratory/clinical research/research specimens within the laboratory sections within department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine; accessions, processes, and routes laboratory testing material to the appropriate testing area; transcribes, prints, sorts, mails, and faxes laboratory reports; handles requests for laboratory reports, specimen tracking, and laboratory requests via phone, email, mail, and other correspondence methods; assists with the performance of laboratory quality control, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance activities; maintains laboratory supply inventories and processes requests for supply orders.
