Lead Engineer - Electrical Design & Production

Job description

Role purpose You will work together with our project team as an owner for electrical design - taking a data-centre project from early concept through detailed design, procurement, construction support and handover, aligned to Eco Data Center's reference architectures and governance. Youll lead technical due diligence (TDD) for electrical scope, drive vendor selection, and make pragmatic trade-offs across resilience, protection philosophy, maintainability and cost. What youll own End-to-end electrical fitout workstream plan, deliverables and decision log Electrical interfaces across UPS, switchgear, generators, BMS/EPMS, fire and commissioning TDD responses for electrical scope with traceable assumptions and evidence Equipment and vendor strategy: specifications, bid evaluations, clarifications, FAT/SAT input Design issue resolution during construction (RFIs, changes, non-conformance, energisation readiness) Key responsibilities Lead the electrical design from early phase through construction, ensuring outputs are buildable, operable and maintainable Produce and defend electrical design decisions (topology, redundancy, protection philosophy, short-circuit considerations, maintainabi...
