Description The University of New Haven Forensic Science Department is recruiting for a tenure-track position. The selected candidate will play a key role in instructing forensic science courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Teaching assignments will be customized to align with the candidate's expertise and encompass a range of classes, including, but not limited to, Introduction/Survey of Forensic Science and other major courses. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the candidate is expected to provide guidance and mentorship to students at both levels, overseeing thesis and other research projects. The role also emphasizes the significance of faculty research and ongoing professional development. This opportunity offers a dynamic environment where individuals can contribute to the academic and research excellence of the Forensic Science department. Qualifications: Applicants for this position must hold a Ph.D. in a natural science or a closely related forensic science discipline and demonstrate expertise in areas such as forensic biology, forensic chemistry, and/or physical analysis methods.
