Job description

Amentum is seeking a Electrician to join our team in Hawthorne, Nevada to support the Hawthorne Army Depot. As an Electrician you will install, maintain, and repair electric wiring systems, related switches, distribution panels, outlet boxes, and other electrical fixtures, tools, and appliances. The Electrician will follow maintenance schedules, inspections, or work orders; perform maintenance services, diagnose systems or equipment malfunctions and repair as necessary. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. Typical Responsibilities Include: Inspect, maintain, clean, repair, test, and adjust various electrical circuits, motors, lighting fixtures, fans, switches, office and heating appliances clocks, rheostats, thermostats, and electrical drills, grinders, and shop equipment. Test circuits and equipment by use of voltmeter, amp meter, wattmeter, megger, and ohmmeter. Measure, cut, thread, bend, assemble, and install conduits.
