Description Position Number: 355028: The Family Medicine Faculty member actively participates in the development and delivery of the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) curriculum. The faculty member will also participate in student mentorship, research, and scholarly activity related to Family Medicine (FM). The position reports to the Division Chief of Family Medicine. Academic: Participates in planning, developing, and delivering the curriculum, including topics, courses, and methods of instruction that relate to family medicine throughout the 4 years of medical education as assigned. Participates in the instruction and supervision of medical students at all phases of training, including didactics, small groups, clinical cases, labs, clinical patient care, simulation training, procedure, task training, and standardized patient encounters. Assists with the development and implementation of the clinical curriculum in the first and second years. Assists with the development and implementation of family medicine, underserved medicine, and primary care education and experiences in the third and fourth years.
