*THIS POSTING IS TO FILL THE CURRENT VACANCY AND TO ESTABLISH AN ELIGIBILITY LIST TO FILL ANY FUTURE VACANCIES THAT MAY OCCUR IN THE NEXT 6 MONTHS* EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Two years of commercial cleaning is preferred. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid Georgia driver’s license. Two years of commercial cleaning experience preferred. Must be able to use a variety of hand and powered tools. INTERVIEW SELECTION PROCESS : The selection process may include one or more components to demonstrate applicants’ knowledge, skills, and abilities in job related areas. These may include exercises such as practical demonstrations, written communications, oral interviews and/or competency assessments. SUMMARY: Under general supervision, performs the general care, routine cleaning, and maintains the appearance of MARTA’s designated areas, as assigned. Periodically removes interior and exterior graffiti. Makes pick up of needed materials from the storerooms and delivers cleaning supplies to various locations.
