Key/Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Minimum Qualification Requirements including education, experience, licensure/certification, etc. and essential physical capabilities (e.g. lifting, assisting lifting, standing, etc.) Preferred Qualification Requirements ( desired requirements beyond MQRs above) - Collaborates with classroom teacher in performance of teaching functions providing support to students and coteaching. - Provides instructional and behavioral management support to students. - Works with children in small and large group settings, as well as individually, under the supervision of the Director of Education. - Participates in lesson planning process, preparing and/or delivering lessons to students both individually and in small groups. - Provides classroom coverage as a substitute teacher as needed, overseeing and leading lessons for various classrooms of 6 to 8 school-aged children with brain injuries or brain-based disabilities in absence of classroom teacher. - Communicates with parents, staff and administration, as appropriate. - Provides direction, support and sup...
