The Shipping Coordinator has general responsibility for coordinating all daily shipping activities. The coordinator is responsible for the warehousing and shipping of products in a manner consistent with company's service and cost objectives. This position reports to the Sr. Production Supervisor. Responsibilities: Ensures completed orders are packed accordingly in Price systems. Determines which delivery service each order requires, while ensuring data entered to Price ERP/TMS systems is accurate. Monitor shipping transactions and documentation for accuracy/timeliness and ensures paperwork for shipped items are distributed to carriers, and filed correctly in accordance with company standards. Obtains quotes from Price approved brokers for outgoing truckload shipments.
