O’Hagan Meyer is seeking a full-time Paralegal to join its office located in Atlanta, GA. The individual in this role supports attorneys who focus their practice on civil defense litigation, including single and multi-plaintiff suits, and complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have substantial litigation experience with a strong background in the handling of legal documentation as well as trial preparation and trial experience. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment, and demonstrate initiative and necessary problem-solving skills. Primary duties might include but are not limited to: - Provide paralegal support to lawyers in the preparation, and review of legal documents such as briefs, appeals, complaints, answers, etc. - Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery. - Assisting attorneys in the discovery process, including drafting discovery requests, responses, and other written discovery requests. - Supporting legal team by requesting, analyzing, and summarizing client documents, records, and reports, and preparing chronologies and timelines. - Preparing and serving sub...
