Pay Grade/Pay Range: Not Graded Department/Organization: 209312 - ACCESS: Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some evenings & weekends as necessary Note to Applicants: Position is eligible for remote work subject to University policy . Job Summary: The Career and Technical Education (CTE) ACCESS Teacher provides web-based instruction to State of Alabama high school students. Additional Department Summary: Initiates and maintains regular contact with facilitators and students regarding student progress. Logs in to the learning management system at least once each day throughout any term in which they are assigned a course. Responds to student emails. Provides feedback on activities. Grades assignments. Monitors student participation. Creates and posts timely announcements. Monitors login times for students and discuss any areas of concern or irregularities with the facilitator, school administrator, or designee. Posts news items and events to keep students on pace and facilitators well informed of course activities and assignments.
