Overview Inwood Management is looking for a Journeyman Plumber, who supports campus operations by installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in the residence halls and dining facilities. The role emphasizes safety, code compliance, customer service to students/faculty/staff, and reliable service delivery within a diverse, high-traffic campus environment. Responsibilities: - Installs, repairs, and maintains potable water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, natural gas, and specialty piping (e.g., compressed air, vacuum) - Maintains and repairs fixtures (toilets, sinks, showers, eyewash stations, emergency showers), water heaters/boilers, sump pumps, ejector pumps, and circulating pumps - Services and tests backflow preventers, RPZs, and ensure cross-connection control per campus program and local code - Conducts preventive maintenance (PMs) on valves, regulators, traps, expansion tanks, and heat exchangers; documents PM completion in CMMS - Supports utility systems: domestic water mains, steam/condensate interfaces in buildings, chilled-water tie-ins, and meter reading - Works safely in residential environments; coordinates with EHS on chemical/biological safety and lockou...
