Job Description Summary Job Description: Role Overview: As an Advanced Lead Engineer in Product Safety for GE Aerospace Avionics and Electric Power North America, you will help GE Aerospace bring to market our next generation of innovative, industry leading products by leveraging your technical leadership and product safety expertise. This role utilizes Product Safety technical knowledge, program execution experience, and strong written and oral communication skills to successfully lead Product Safety efforts on multiple commercial and military development programs. Roles and Responsibilities: This position has a strong technical focus on the execution of product Safety activities; the responsibilities for this role include: - Oversee and/or assist with the execution of development safety activities to include: generating Safety requirements, performing Safety assessments and activities (FHA, PSSA, SSA, Fault Tree Analyses, Common Cause Analyses, SAR, etc.) - Lead Safety activities and provide technical leadership for assigned programs - Foster a forward-looking culture focused on proactive engagement and issue prevention - Coordinate with the US Development Safety leader to establ...
