Bargaining Unit: UUP Job Summary: The Department of Urology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an On-Call Attending Physician / Clinical Assistant Professor (HS). The successful candidate will: - Cover Urology and must submit to a schedule. - Accept and work with Medicaid patients. - Be physically available to be on-site in the hospital within a reasonable timeframe and be prepared to shift from work in private practice to attend to emergencies. - Understand and agree to, that one-day of call is equal to 24-hours. - Allow patients seen in consultation at Downstate to be followed in physician's private practice. - Cover all operations performed by residents, whether elective or emergent.
