Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:15 AM to 4:30 PM Job Summary: The Medical Assistant provides assistance to the Physician and Physician's Assistant with daily administrative and clinical duties. Key Responsibilities: Increase patient satisfaction, compliance with schedule prep, voicemail, accurate end of day batching, compliance with time stamping, compliance with clinical policies and procedures, wait times, timeliness and accuracy with pre certs and authorizations. Responsibilities: Greets patients in the waiting room and escorts them to the exam room. Directs patient to surgery scheduling and/or front desk for checkout. Maintains order, cleanliness, and inventory in the exam room, and prepares exam room for patients to enter. Cleans and autoclaves instruments.
