About the role As Senior Principal Reliability Engineer GaN/SiC (m/f/d), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and durability of our GaN and SiC products, by supporting customers with reliability and lifetime predictions, with product reliability competence, developing reliability testing, analyzing failure mechanisms, optimizing designs and processes, and providing valuable insights to enhance the overall performance and reliability of our technologies. This is your new job: - Develop and manage the reliability test plan for GaN/SiC products and calculate extrapolated lifetime for given mission profiles - Enable early identification and characterization of failure mechanisms and link to performance and lifetime limitations through simulation and predictive analytics - Determining the effect of the different stress factors on the lifetime and plot the failure distribution for each stressor as result of test-to-fail - Derive lifetime models and drifts prediction for main parameters.
