Community and Social Services Worker – Summer Student 3 – 1.0 FTE Temporary Contract (8 weeks) Thunder Bay Site One of a network of provincial community health centres, the NorWest Community Health Centres is a community based, non-profit organization funded by Ontario Health, emphasizing access to primary health care and prevention programs and services. We are currently seeking three (3) FTE temporary contract Community Health Workers, who, as valuable members of the Community Health Centre team, will provide support to clients to improve health and well-being, reduce social isolation through program delivery, and connect clients with long-term community services. The Community Health Worker works closely with the Allied Health Programs, inter-professional care team and community partners to support clients in meeting their needs and achieving goals related to the determinants of health. The Health Care of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) is available as an optional benefit. The rate of this position is $17.60 per hour. We do not use AI to screen resumes.
