Department Overview The OHSU Division of Hospital Medicine’s mission is, “To serve, connect, and educate in order to heal, comfort, and empower” and we are seeking others who share these values to join our team as we grow. OHSU is adding a large inpatient tower with ~125 additional beds set to open in April 2026 and we are excited to continue to build the team. Our faculty members are all hospitalists: clinicians whose primary professional focus is the general medical care of hospitalized patients and pre-operative medical consultation. Their activities include direct patient care teaching, research, and leadership related to hospital medicine. Our faculty strive to provide quality, compassionate and evidence-based patient centered care. We are engaged in service, research and education throughout the institution. We are closely affiliated with the OHSU Internal Medicine Residency Program, and our faculty actively participate in multiple ways through the OHSU School of Medicine MD Program including classroom-based learning and 3rd/4th year clinical experiences.
