Construction Inspector - Water/Wastewater

Job description

RK&K is seeking a Construction Inspector experienced in water/wastewater utility construction inspection or knowledgeable in infrastructure construction and interested in applying this knowledge on construction sites. In this role you will support a Field Engineering and Inspection project originating out of the Treasure Coast and Southeast FL area. Construction Inspectors work independently on project sites but work closely with project managers, project engineers, construction managers and other team members in provision of construction services on a variety of water, wastewater, stormwater, and related infrastructure and facility projects. Essential Functions: - Conduct regular inspections of water/wastewater, stormwater, utilities and related facilities construction projects to verify compliance with approved plans and codes - to include water and sewer utilities - Conduct regular inspections of roadway infrastructure including earthwork, asphalt, concrete, drainage, flatwork, etc. to verify compliance with approved plans and contract documents - Provide field engineering, construction management and contract support services (submittal review, contract document interpretation,...
