Overview: This one-year advanced fellowship provides immersive training in the full spectrum of hypertension care and preventive cardiology. Hosted at the AHA–certified Comprehensive Hypertension Center—founded and directed by Dr. Delgado-Lelievre—the program delivers nationally recognized excellence in diagnosis, innovation, and prevention. Fellows gain clinical expertise , procedural training in renal artery denervation (RDN), scholarly development, and board preparation for Hypertension Specialist certification. Curriculum/responsibilities: Hypertension Clinics (45%): Under supervision, fellows manage hypertension as a multidimensional disease in diverse clinical settings. Core Objectives: - Non-Pharmacologic: DASH diet, sodium reduction, lifestyle. - Pharmacologic: Drug mechanisms, sequencing, phenotype-based tailoring. - Interventional: Integration of RDN and device-based options. - Phenotyping: ABPM, renin/ald...
