Salary The salary range for this position is CAD $38.88/Hr. - CAD $55.89/Hr. Summary: Reporting to the Manager, Violence Prevention, the Advisor participates in the development and implementation of violence prevention initiatives at all Providence Health Care (PHC) sites. The Advisor is responsible to ensure PHC meets organizational objectives in addition to maintaining compliance with OH&S standards and regulations. The position assists in the development of core and risk specific curricula for workplace violence prevention education that meets the needs of all employees within PHC, and that allows the organization to honour agreements reached between healthcare employers and unions to enhance violence prevention initiatives. Facilitates in-person training to all in-house Public Safety Officers/Safety Support Workers in Trauma Informed Practice, through a train-the-trainer model. Provides regular reporting to the Ministry of Health on the relational security initiative, and supports the implementation of Ministry's Workforce Violence Prevention Policy Directive and framework, including regular reporting to the Ministry's Health and Safety Unit.
