Description The School of Public Health at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full‐time, non-tenure, Research Assistant Professor for the Department of Health Policy and Management. The successful candidate will conduct cutting edge research and provide mentoring for students based in College Station. The candidate will focus primarily on health services research, retrospective database studies, Medicaid, value based payment systems, emergency department use, Telemedicine, and 1115 Medicaid Waiver with potential for limited opportunities to teach and engage in professional service. This 11-month appointment. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. About the Department of Health Policy & Management The Department has 14 tenured and tenure track faculty, as well as 7 academic professional track (APT) faculty members, and is home to more than 120 graduate students. It offers a traditional Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a concentration in Health Policy & Management, and a PhD in Health Services Research.
