Education: - Bachelor’s degree is required. - Completion of a histology program is required. Experience / Qualifications: - State of Florida Technologist License is required. - ASCP certification is required. - 1 year of experience working in a clinical histology lab preferred. - Cognizant ability to correlate physician requests with specimen preparation and processing. - Precise hand to eye coordination and finger dexterity is necessary to perform procedures, obtain specimens and use electronic/computerized equipment.
