Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for providing radiology services for the center, utilizing flouroscopy with the C-arm. The RT assists the consulting radiologist, Adminisratior, and Clinical Director in maintaining compliance for the radiology program at the facility. QUALIFICATIONS: High school Diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited radiology technologist program Certified as radiology technician (AART): CPR certification: Operating Room or Pain Procedure experience ASC experience: Two (2) years' experience in a healthcare setting peforming fluoroscopy procedures ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Effectively organizes time, equipment, and supplies Uses equipment accurately: Provides comfort and reassurance to the patient and promotes privacy and dignity Confirms proper radiology techniques and procedures are used according to accepted standards of practice Assists in managing inventory of supplies, drugs, and equipment to maintain availability and stock levels in the areas assigned Utilizes appropriate shielding devices and techniques for the patient, physician, and staff in areas where fluoroscopy is used Ensures proper warning signs are posted in areas where fluorosco...
