Status Full-Time Standard Hours per Week: 40 Job Posting Category: Support Services: Job Posting Description: Schedule: 10:00pm-6:30am EST: Position Summary/ Department Summary: Supervises daily operations for receipt, handling, distribution and storage of supplies, equipment and/or linen for multiple receiving docks. Supervises, plans, organizes and delegates daily work assignments for designated personnel. Key Responsibilities: - Performs duties and responsibilities required to adequately handle the flow of materials into and out of the hospital. Receives and responds to customer problems and issues. - Plans, organizes and delegates daily work assignments for materials handlers to meet established production goals and schedules. Monitors work volume, determines priorities and responds to urgent requests in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate flow of goods. Participates actively in the evaluation process for all supervisory staff. - Maintains logs, records and documentation related to areas of responsibility, such as receipt, delivery and distribution of materials and maintenance of equipment.
