Overview: Completes a variety of the most complex duties related to the discharge of a retail loan or lines of credit once paid in full, using the appropriate software as required. Provides guidance and training to less experienced personnel on the most difficult transactions. Primary Responsibilities: - Work with document custodians to obtain documents. - Create, review, execute, notarize and witness discharge documents and file them at the appropriate county clerk's office within state prescribed timeframes. - Resolve return loan issues from offshore team. Identify and communicate trends of issues and rejections with offshore and onshore teams; provide training for the offshore team. - Complete regular department reporting. - Maintain compliance timeframes for discharge requirements. - Assist with resolution of unrecorded documents. - Work with business partners to resolve recording issues. - Pay vendor invoices as required. - Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.
