Job description

Competently performs complete echocardiographic studies integrating all cardiac echo imaging modalities and procedures necessary to obtain all pertinent patient data. Documents patient data and echo exam information completely and accurately utilizing the Echo Information Management System and other necessary computer applications. Functions independently while using critical thinking and problem-solving skills to obtain a comprehensive echocardiogram. Collaborates with Lead Cardiac Sonographers, Advanced Cardiac Sonographers, Echocardiographers, Physicians, and other team members to assist in interpretation of echocardiographic findings. Assists in the orientation, training, and education of all levels of trainees, students, and visitors assigned to Cardiovascular Services . Expectations extend to includes stress lab and stress echo lab procedures and outreach. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality care appropriately to the age of the patient including pediatric to geriatric patient populations.
