Job Summary This position is responsible for the safe, comfortable, courteous, and timely transport of patients via prescribed transport vehicles. Core Job Responsibilities: - Responsible for working with the nursing staff to assist in the patient care related to the transfer and transport of the patient to and from the nursing unit - Responsible for the delivery of equipment and reallocation of transport devices to various areas within the organization - Greeting customers/ patients and responding to their needs questions in the main lobby - Ensures a clean and safe environment by maintaining safety standards and performing cleaning in the main lobby as needed - Perform other duties as required. Required: PREFERRED: - High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience - Knowledge of computer/phone systems preferred. - Prior experience in a hospital setting - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to multitask and work in a high-pressure environment.
