Applicant must reside within the assigned region covering facilities as far west as Red Onion State Prison and as far east as Pocahontas State Correctional*** Under the direction and guidance of the Office of Law Enforcement Services Assistant Deputy Chief, the Assistant Chief leads and supervises a staff of Special Agent law enforcement professionals who conduct criminal investigations of statutory violations against or within the Department of Corrections by employees, inmates, contractors, volunteers, visitors or others, and administrative investigations of violations of the Standards of Conduct, and other investigations or inquiries of serious matters involving the Department.
