Job Description Summary Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance. Job Description: Role Overview: Serve as the inspection technical expert for STAC Interpret complex blueprints, specifications, and engineering requirements (GD&T, special characteristics, critical features) Define and validate inspection methods, plans, and acceptance criteria Lead inspections of components, assemblies, and test hardware to ensure compliance with engineering, regulatory, and customer requirements Support first article inspection (FAI) and qualification activities Analyze nonconformances and drive effective root cause and corrective actions Develop and improve inspection processes and standard work (e.g., CMM, visual, dimensional, NDE/NDT as applicable) Partner with Metrology, Quality, and Engineering to define gaging, fixturing, and measurement strategies Support calibration and verification of i...
