Full Time: Days: Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm Job Summary: The Pharmacy Technician retrieves, packages and labels oral solid, liquid, topical, rectal, injectable and premixed IV medications, phone calls, computer communications, medication delivery, automated dispensing cabinet (ADC) stocking, unit dose packaging, medication storage area inspection and customer service. The Pharmacy Technician may compound non-sterile, sterile and hazardous medications. Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: State of Oklahoma Pharmacy Board Technician License in good standing required. Work Experience: 0 - 6 months experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy or successful completion of Pharmacy Technician program. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of pharmacy computer software including medication reordering, ADC's (automated dispensing cabinets), unit-dose packaging and pharmacy inventory retrieval systems.
