Summary This is highly skilled and supervisory work in the maintenance and repair of Hinds County facilities, buildings, equipment and fixtures. Responsible for skilled maintenance tasks including, but limited to carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC). Leads and trains lower-level staff; ensures facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition and performs related work as required. Receives direction from higher-level supervisory staff. The incumbent functions from general supervision of a superior.
