Job description

Overall Responsibilities: The Product Engineer design solutions for products and set up product specifications to meet business goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Product development: Working closely with design, test, manufacturing, and quality engineering team members to provide support. - Product specifications: Establishing product specifications to meet organizational goals. - Test programs: Developing test programs, hardware, DVP&R - Data analysis: Analyzing statistical data for new and sustaining products. - Product release documentation: Generating and managing product release documentation. - Cost reduction: Driving cost reduction activities. - Product issues: Working on resolutions to product issues using data analysis. - Train, and mentor other Engineers and supporting staff. - Ensure APQP compliance during engineering development activities, as well as interface deliverables. - Manage access to OE CAD data via various avenues including SEMA and direct contact with OEM representatives. - Utilize and coordinate robust product designs practices within Engineering. - Interface with customers to obtain technical requirements and engineering specifications (QFD and related activities...
