Job Summary: Admissions: Arrange for the efficient and orderly admission of outpatient testing or procedures. Ensures that the patient’s information is collected, entered in the computer system accurately, and that all patients are aware of Urgent Care policies and procedures. Interviews incoming patient or representatives and enters information required for admission into computer. Distributes appropriate information to all ancillary departments. Must maintain a 95% accuracy rate quarterly on all admissions. HIM: Reviews medical records after discharge for completeness in compliance with the hospitals bylaws, federal and state requirements. Assures that patient’s abstracts are correctly entered into the chart deficiency system. Monitors accounts being admitted daily for duplication of medical records numbers, along with checking patients discharge status when assembling the chart. Com...
