Shared Services: Center for Data Sciences (Full-Time, Day Shift) - Job Summary: The Director for the Center of Data Science advances cutting-edge research and develops transformative solutions at the intersection of biology, medicine, and data science. Contributes to campus-wide groundbreaking initiatives that will drive scientific innovation, enhance patient care, and align our mission to improve lives. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, or a related field required. Minimum five years of applied experience in biostatistics, bioinformatics, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applications required. Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of life sciences, including genomics, systems biology, and molecular biology. Working knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics, predictive modeling, multivariate analysis, Bayesian statistics experimental design and Model validation and interpretation.
