Description The Monell Chemical Senses Center, founded in 1968, is the world’s first nonprofit scientific institute devoted exclusively to basic research on the chemical senses: taste, smell, and chemosensory irritation. Research at Monell contributes to a wide range of scientific and practical knowledge. The ideal candidate will be involved in accounts payable functions and record keeping. Individual will assist with bank reconciliations, monthly financial reports, journal vouchers/entries, preparation of invoices, as well as grants and contracts management. Responsibilities also include assisting with purchasing of equipment and supplies for research laboratories and offices. Other accounting and administrative tasks as required.
