Hospice of the Piedmont is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to provide personal care services to Hospice House patients. This is a PRN role that provides coverage for all or part of the 7pm–7am shift. Responsibilities: Direct Patient Care: Provides nursing care to Hospice residents and oversees nursing assistants. Team Collaboration: Works with the team to identify patient care needs. Communication: Reports changes in residents' conditions to relevant medical staff. Documentation: Maintains accurate patient records. Support Tasks: Assists with food preparation, housekeeping, and completes various administrative tasks. Policy Adherence: Follows personnel policies and maintains safety and infection control standards. Medication Management: Manages medication orders, performs narcotic counts, and ensures proper medication handling.
