Nemours Children’s Health in Jacksonville, FL , is seeking a General Pediatric Cardiologist to join our expanding team. Interest or expertise in preventive cardiology or exercise physiology is desirable but not a requisite. This position offers the opportunity to practice at one of the Southeast’s premier children’s hospitals, serving a diverse patient population and focusing on the prevention, early detection, and management of cardiovascular risk factors in children and adolescents. Key Responsibilities: - Diagnose and treat congenital and acquired heart conditions in infants, children, and adolescents. - Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care. - Individuals with an interest in preventive cardiology will have the opportunity to grow a program with an emphasis on risk reduction, lifestyle modification, and preventive strategies for infants, children and adolescents. Manage conditions such as hyperlipidemia and family history of early cardiovascular disease. - Individuals with an interest in exercise physiology will have the opportunity to grow a program of exercise stress testing working with a nurse practitioner and exercise physiologist. - Collaborate closely with a mu...
