GL / AR Senior Retail Accountant in Retail Department

Job description

Job Purpose We are looking for a GL / AR Retail Senior Accountant in Retail Department reporting directly to the Retail Team Leader. This is a Local role based in Poznań. As a finance professional, you will be responsible for accurate, efficient, and timely processing of general ledger and AR activities. You will also participate in projects and take initiative to improve processes, communication, and the overall work environment. Responsibilities: - General Ledger operations: journal entries, accrual calculation, balance sheet reconciliations, intracompany reconciliations - Carrying out month-end, year-end closing tasks - Various reports’ preparation and analysis, reporting of the financial results for consolidation purposes - Identify and implement potential process improvements - KPI analysis, root cause identification and improvement suggestions - Ensures daily operations are carried out according to Group finance policies and internal control requirements - Daily bank statements posting and reconciliation - AR tasks such as customer invoicing, posting standard accounting transactions, GL transitory account reconciliation, regular communication with point of sales across France...
