Description Position Description: Full Time: Reports to: Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministry Work Hours: Varies as Determined by Pastor Summary: The Coordinator of Youth & Young Adult Ministry will work with the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry in the overall planning and implementation of Youth and Young Adult Ministry with direct coordination of Middle School Ministry & Young Adult Ministry. Assists in the Confirmation Preparations for high school teens and administrative duties of the YYA Department as assigned by the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry. This position will perform basic administrative duties related to the Faith Formation Program and will maintain files and records of students. The Youth and Young Adult Religious Education Coordinator will also connect the parents and families in the program to the larger parish community. Other responsibilities may include: preparing and distributing weekly bulletin communication (both paper and electronic) to parents.
