Overview Through this apprenticeship, youth will continue to amplify the voices of youth and young adults through the continuation of a youth-led, citywide Advisory Council called Santana's Youth Empowerment Council (SYEC). The mission of SYEC is to create a safe and supportive space where youth can come together to engage in critical thinking. We strive to amplify the voices of young people across Boston, collaborating with Councilor Henry A. Santana to identify solutions that directly address the challenges they face in their communities and educational journeys.
