WSP is currently seeking an Intermediate Traffic Design Engineer, for our established and growing North Carolina Traffic practice! This position can sit out of our Charlotte or Raleigh, NC office. This Opportunity: The successful candidate should have developed technical skills using OpenRoad Designer (ODR), MicroStation GeoPak, or AutoCad to develop design plans and specifications for transportation or electrical systems. Specialized experience in the design of traffic signals, communications, intelligent transportation systems, lighting systems, or roadway systems, are a plus. Other tasks may include field analysis of traffic systems, traffic signal timing, pavement marking analysis and design, and photometric analysis for lighting design. Your Impact: - Collect, compile, and analyze data from the physical work site, surveys, blueprints, GIS data, maps, technical data, and other matrices for project development, design, and construction. - Perform professional traffic engineering work and conduct investigations and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, roadways, intersections, signage, signals, pavement markings, and transportation corridors to determine conforman...
