Job description

Qualifications: - High School Diploma/GEDand one year of experience in shelter operations and/or security required. - Excellent observational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong de-escalation skills. - Ability to competently supervise, accept supervision, and effectively contribute to the team. - Work well with diverse clients and respect confidentiality; work within ethical and legal parameters. - Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and the onsite camera security system. - Valid Driver's License and must meet the MVR driver’s qualifications, preferred. - Must pass The Salvation Army background checks. - Willingness to support the philosophy, goals, and objectivesof The Salvation Army. - Must be able to successfully complete CPR/First Aid, CPI, and Bloodborne Pathogen certification. - Safe From Harm will apply upon commencement of employment and Safe From Harm training must be satisfactorily completed within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
