TITLE Supervisor - Quality Assurance LOCATION Cairo, GA DEPARTMENT Quality SHIFT 1st CLASSIFICATION Salary Exempt REPORTS TO Quality Manager GRADE 205 Summary/Purpose The Quality Assurance Supervisor supports the Quality department and manufacturing product lines to ensure compliance to Quality Management System requirements. This position assists with the planning, supporting, and coordination of quality assurance and quality control programs. Leads management of external and internal audit programs, corrective and preventative actions, and document control. This position reports directly to the Quality Manager. Essential Duties and Accountabilities: - Continually strives to increase “quality awareness” in all associates through quality events and personal action. - Assures completion of appropriate quality planning and implementation of Quality Management System requirements. - Develop a full understanding of all customer-specific Quality requirements as per the customer’s Supplier Quality Manual. - Ensures JTEKT’s products and processes demonstrate compliance to ISO9001, IATF16949, and Customer Specific requirements. - Communicates customer quality requirements to affected plant...
