Job Family Group: Staff Department/Office: Upward Bound Time Type: Part time Compensation: $18.98-$23.73 Please note, starting salaries are based on factors including internal equity, relevant experience, and education. Exemption Status: Exempt Job Description: Responsible for developing a curriculum and teaching within the academic skill areas of expertise in high school (eg. English, mathematics, science, foreign language). JOB DUTIES: Provides instruction to high school participants within Academic Year or Summer Component. Researches and develops course curriculum including a detailed syllabus, lesson plans, and assessment measures. Manages and records student assessment measures and documentation including progress and final reports. Advises and directs student tutors in the implementation of course lessons. Provides formative and summative feedback to program staff on student capabilities and needs. Participates in staff meetings and development workshops.
