About the Position : This is a leadership position within the Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH) Warehouse. Responsible for the management, from acquisition to disposal, of all supplies and equipment used to support GMH. These responsibilities include procurement, receipt, storage, control, issuance, inventory, and delivery of material. The functions within this job family will vary by level, but may include the following: - Receives, issues, ships and arranges stock in proper location using machinery as needed. - Inspects items for conformance with specifications. - Confers with department heads, vendors, and outside agencies concerning purchases, deliveries, and acceptability of supplies.
