Diesel Mechanic (PM Shift: 2 PM – 2 AM | $25–$32/hr) We are looking for a high‑energy Diesel Mechanic to join our team on the PM shift (2:00 PM – 2:00 AM) . Pay Range: $25–$32 per hour , depending on experience. Duties & Responsibilities: - Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services - Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems - Use electronic diagnostic systems to interpret failure codes and determine repairs - Complete all required documentation using fleet maintenance software (repairs, parts usage, labor time) - Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports - Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment - Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns - Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and corporate standards - Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed - Shift: 2 PM – 2 AM (PM Shift) Minimum Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of experience directly related to diesel repair duties - Must provide own personal tools - Welding/fabrication experience is a significant plus Benefits: We offer excellent benefits, including: Waste Connection...
