Manager II Labs, Analytical – LCMS Lab

Job description

This job involves the management and coordination of people and instrumentation to keep preparation and analytical work smoothly flowing through one of two LCMS groups while meeting all quality and safety requirements. - Train, develop, motivate, and evaluate a competent workforce in cooperation with the management team. - Overall responsibility to ensure that production targets and turnaround time goals are met. - Ensure that the team meets safety, quality, and cost control objectives, proactively identifying risks and driving corrective actions. - Coordinate resources between groups, particularly between the two LCMS teams. - Provide technical oversight and help with troubleshooting/problem resolution as appropriate for testing in the LCMS group. - Ensure that equipment and instruments are appropriately maintained, and that lab documentation is well organized and up to date. - Ensure clear, effective communication across shifts and act as an escalation point for operational and quality concerns. - Drive adoption of new processes, systems, or organizational changes. - Provide clear, data driven updates on performance, risks, and mitigation plans. - Perform other duties as requeste...
